The logging from zmd is a little atypical - any chance of bringing it under control of logrotate etc.? I don't really want all these tiny files piling up in /var/log/.
/etc/zmd/zmd.conf does not seem to offer many options.
You are right, they are a lot of files (I have 51 of around 2..4KiB). And I dont' see how to control them. They don't seem to come from syslog; however, there is a /etc/logrotate.d/zmd-backend file, that could do something.
There is an update for that very problem just now :-) - -- Cheers, Carlos E. R. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.2 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Made with pgp4pine 1.76 iD8DBQFFNn8btTMYHG2NR9URArAHAJ0ZEGeSg5HZ4X02sRjTLqBWydhNugCghnQe 4Pbe5BKUSRtqRy10wiK43yM= =37TM -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
