Dear friends, I now have two CRT monitors - a 17" and a 14" (or 15" I don't know exactly) and would like to use them both with SUSE Linux at a time, with the desktop being extended across the two (and not duplicated in the two). My motherboard's in-built VGA system has only one VGA port in the back in which I currently plugin my 17" monitor. Now I need to purchase hardware that will help me attach the second monitor. My friend said I need a VGA splitter (or joiner - he wasn't sure). I would like to have advice from the SUSE community on what hardware to purchase, so that it would be compatible with SUSE Linux. Also, what would be the steps to follow to configure the display? I just go to SaX and activate Dual Head Mode and configure the second monitor, right? Thank you for your quick reply. :) [I need to purchase this soon.] -- Tux #395953 resides at http://samvit.org playing with KDE 3.53 on SUSE Linux 10.1 $ date [] CCE +2006-06-15 W24-4 UTC+0530
