I don't know if people have seen this, but the GWDG.DE repository has updated the glibc from 2.4-25 to 2.4-28, however it has skipped 2.4-28 in the glibc-devel package, so that glibc is broken. You cannot revert to 2.4-28 of glibc-devel, you'll have to revert to 2.4-25 as the 2.4-31 version is apparantly incompatible with that of 2.4-25/28.
What are you looking at?
