He basically points out: * ISOs are too big, users will download all 5 when they could have done an ftp install with half the data * the updates/patches are still in the old ftp.suse.com tree * on many mirrors, x86_64 packages are found somewhere under i386 * x86_64 packages sometimes not mirrored due to their redundancy

Having a beta-repository would be better in my opinion also. Most users don't want to burn 3-5 cd's and they have to do some tricks to do it without burning them. Making FTP-install available would be much easier. And why are the extra's in the suse-dir and all the other dirs in opensuse? never understood that so maybe you can point you're light on it for me :D Azerion
