/etc/sysconfig/displaymanager DISPLAYMANAGER_XSERVER='Xglx' it will start but the screen will stay blank....is there anything missing
Here's your problem - read the comment in /etc/sysconfig/displaymanager above the DISPLAYMANAGER_XSERVER variable, and for that matter the name of the package, and every piece of documentation connected to it... It's called Xgl not Xglx I had to change references to /usr/X11R6/bin to /usr/X11R6/bin/Xgl in /etc/opt/gnome/gdm/gdm.conf to get it to work with GDM incidentally. -- James Ogley james@usr-local-bin.org Packages for SUSE: http://usr-local-bin.org/rpms Make Poverty History: http://makepovertyhistory.org
