What's the proper way to create a user in PostgreSQL?
From the command line:
`su - postgres` `psql -d template1 -c "CREATE USER username WITH ENCRYPTED PASSWORD 'password'"`
(See http://www.postgresql.org/docs/8.0/interactive/sql-createuser.html for the full set of options.)
The "createuser" command would be a whole lot less typing....

Found it, didn't realize sudo su postgres changed me to a different user. Had no idea that user even existed on my system.
