Hmm, it works for me -

on host1:

ssh -X <host2> /usr/lib/ooo-2.0/program/soffice

host2 is a SUSE 10.0 install.

I just noticed something really weird. If I connect from my notebook to my desktop system, I get the problem. If I go from my desktop to notebook, it works fine. There's something peculiar here, but I have no idea what. They're both running SUSE 10, and SUSE's OO. Both systems are running 1024 x 768.
