From the command line how I force DHCP to get an address (and, possibly, wait a little longer before timing out)?
I am not sure what you mean by "force DHCP to get an address", but from what I can remember of the standard you can't force it since you are asking permission from a dhcp server. As for timing out you can use the -t flag. For an "infinite" timeout use "-t 999999"
Also, how can I pick a network (Cell 0#) from the command line to join?
The iwconfig command is your friend. You'll want to specify the essid component: iwconfig wlan0 essid "Cell Name" S. -- -------------------------------------------------- Scott Pack spack@cs.ohiou.edu http://cidds.cs.ohiou.edu/~spack
