About 7 months ago, I was doing a lot of ripping of CD's that I had made myself from older LP records. Since they were homemade, there wasn't the normal information that a CD would have so that grip could access the CDDB databases. Thus I was left with a bunch of files that were ripped but the filenames were not descriptive. There was a utility I used at the time that would allow you to type in a search keyword and it would look up the keyword in the CDDB database. Thus if you typed in an artist's name, it would return with the title of every CD that artist had ever cut. You could then select the proper title and it would assign the proper filesnames to each track. You could also override any particular title if things didn't line up quite properly and when you got everything correct, you could tell it to rename all the files with the names of each song title. Does anyone know what utility that might have been? I've googled, searched in the KDE menu, done APROPOS till my fingers get tired, etc but have come up blank. It was a really handy utility but darned if my feeble mind can recall it. Anyone?? Thanks.
