some interesting derivatives from SuSE.
Yes, I know it's mainly from open SuSE for those who are likely to start screaming OT :-) It does however show that there is a fan base big enough to warrant a derivative that wants purely KDE as the desktop.
I am very disappointed; I have been waiting patiently since Friday, Nov 11, for someone to comment on or note the statement by Novell that KDE would be returned to, and fully supported on, ALL Novell Linux products, due to all the confusion over this matter. Doubtless there was also enough in the general commentary for them to conclude that KDE was also in at least equal demand in the workplace.
Start your search at Distrowatch, folx, in the "weekly news" section for Nov 14. There are lots of articles in lots of obscure places, such as EWeek, Linux-Watch, and even Novell's own blogsite. Doubtless everyone was too engaged in remembering our war dead to notice </sarcasm>
Perhaps all of the comments are on the OT list where they belong. Try subscribing to the OT list for non-support issues.
