On a new SuSE 10 install, the system froze necessitating a reboot with the computer reset button (boy, I hate when I have to do that). On restart, all users get a warning message window saying the session lasted less than 10 seconds--fix the installation. Using WINDOWMANAGER=gnome startx on the console, I see the X server refused the connection based on: Xlib error: Invalid MIT-MAGIC-COOKIE. What does this mean and how can I correct it?
