Now that this thread has drifted seriously OT I hope this is a last post. There are plenty of lists I am on which are political in nature and I can guarantee you either a good bashing or plenty of communists to bash.
For those in Rio Linda California they are called liberals. None of these is for the faint of heart, thin of skin or emotionally infantile. So if you want to get your Irish up see me off list at cwsiv_3rd at hotpop dot com

I'm sure we could. I am Irish, so it doesn't take too much to have me reaching for my shilelagh. But there's really no need for a fight, my point is exactly yours, let's keep it on topic, and maintain a public archive of Linux related issues, by avoiding overtly political sigs and terms designed to generate hatred. If it's OK with you, it's certainly OK with me. As I've said before, I appear to be the only party to this discussion interested in actually using the sig to put my name and address in. That's because I've nothing to hide and have no political, religious or racial agenda to try to sneak into a Linux self-help group. Nor have I started bandying insulting terminology about. Vent your frustration at those who introduced such terms, not those who asked them to stop doing so.
