I use SuSE Professional and trying to figure out what differences there is between the old Professional package, and the new SuSE 10. In the comparison chart on: http://www.novell.com/products/suselinux/comparative.html
Novell describes some of the differences between what they call Enterprise and Enthusiast products. Here the info on SuSE 10 says the following: Security patches - Limited availability Software and driver updates - No Update protection - No Service-pack availability - No
Anyone knows what this implies. Does SuSE 10 still give the same access to updats as SuSE Professional did (like SuSE Online-update and Fou4s updates) ?.
That was said for Professional as well. Limited = around 2 years, as opposed to Enterprise which is minimum 5 years. THAT is what is meant.
