You just point your installer to where your sources are - harddisk, network, CD, ftp etc. I always install from harddisk over NFS.
Can you clarify that?
To install a new box from my downloaded copy of SuSE Linux (whichever version), I boot either from CD or floppy. You can make both from the boot-images provided by SuSE. At installation-time, when I get the option, I select install from network, then NFS. And that's just about all there is to it. Of course, you'll need to run an nfs-server and allow NFS access to the directories where your copy of SuSE resides. /Per Jessen, Zürich -- http://www.spamchek.com/freetrial - managed anti-spam and anti-virus solution.
