What about Blackdown Java-Linux ? As I was searching on the web in my short time, it seems, that some developers somehow modify the java from sun and on the freshmeat site, the licence is Free To Use But Restricted.
Blackdown Java is still closed source, only the developers have access to the code.
AFAIK RedHat has contributed some patches to Open Office that make it work with gcj. Would these be enough to get the OO.org included?
Petr is looking into this atm. We will for sure loose some features and it will reduce the speed of OOo a bit, but we hope to be able to make the usage of Sun Java optional. bye adrian -- Adrian Schroeter SuSE AG, Maxfeldstr. 5, 90409 Nuernberg, Germany email: adrian@suse.de
