As the help text says, you have to select the highest numbered entry in the list. You can't select entries 'in the middle'. While this isn't very flexible, it is documented in the help text, so I don't think it can be called a bug. Undesired perhaps, and lacking, but not a bug If you want to install in partitions 'in the middle', it seems you have to do the advanced partitioning manually
