Have a look through the whole supplementary directory. Also have a look in the /pub/projects directory But note that none of this is official or supported. It's presented on a "have fun" basis only
I tried your suggestion for KDE, but I was faced with 2 dependency conflicts (As I remember, one of them was about xine-mad, used by Kafeine.) Should the needed package have been on the FTP site, or is this an issue that has to be resolved "by hand" ?
Run YaST online update and get the optional multimedia packs (needs to be selected manually, they won't be getten automagically). xine-mad is in one of them, I forget which, but you might as well get all four, they're not that large It can also be found on packman (http://packman.links2linux.org), another repository of up to date software for suse
