Your FreeMind was compiled for Java 5.0 (a.k.a. Java 1.5). You'll need to install those packages, which are included in the 9.3 distribution, before you can run these particular class files. Beware that after you install from the DVD you should immediately run YOU and get the updates. There was a mix-up in the /etc/alternatives symlinks and possibly with some of the Java library packages.
