Hi list,
I'm trying to set up a pptpd connection to a SUSE 9.2 Pro box, following
the steps given in /usr/share/doc/packages/pptpd/README.SuSE
But I get the following in the logs:
May 9 23:49:44 zeus pppd[332]: In file /etc/ppp/options.ppp0:
unrecognized option '+chapms'
May 9 23:49:44 zeus pptpd[331]: Error reading from pppd: Input/output
error
May 9 23:49:44 zeus pptpd[331]: CTRL: GRE read or PTY write failed
(gre,pty)=(6,5)
And then the connection fails. It has the same complaint about
+chapms-v2, mppe-40, mppe-128, and mppe-stateless.
If I comment these options out, I get to the next level of frustration -
actually getting the connection up. I get:
May 9 23:57:44 zeus pppd[475]: rcvd [CHAP Response id=0xcc
