I am experiencing and interesting problem with my 92 box, Specifically with Kontact.
A bout a week ago I changed the routing on my box so that I did not need to go through the proxy.
For a week all was fine, Today all of sudden I keep getting request for my proxy username and pass from Kontact/KMail.
It seems something is trying to go somewhere!?!
I have dbl checked the global variables and Yast proxy settings but can't pin what is causing the abnormal behaviour.
How bout checking the settings in the packages that are causing problems rather than global variables... Kmail can manage several accounts, each with a different transport configuration.
