About compatibility I can not tell you. I know that Acer has models
with Linux preinstalled so it could be compatible. But I personally do
not like CrystalBrite model with glass on matrix. It has to much
reflections. There could be situations that it will be not possible to
work with it at all.
Beter look for IBM ThinkPad R51/52/T42/43 models with FlexView (if you
are looking for good screen).
