Well i cant see the reason why the apache config went /dev/null (or some other happy place)
Yes Im slamming Suse.
Theres a moral in this story - its backup your apache config for some strange reason before you delete an network address.

uhh, forgive me for tresspassing in your war.. but isn't making backups of vital files sort of computer basics 101? Always, always, AL -BLOODY-ways make backups of system and other config files before you make any changes.. At least you can then copy your settings to whatever place needs to have them .. like, what is a reason not to "bother" w/ all that??? Sometimes I forget, or misplace my disk w/ all the recent stuff , but at least I don't blame the distro for my own idiocy. There is enough blame to go round in Linux , Suse , and any other computer place one can imagine.. but to blame them for your error is just, well ..... -- j "Any Genuine contest between liberty and equality is a contest that liberty must lose."
