9.3 arrived yesterday, and outside of not syncing with my Palm, there's no show stoppers......yet. However, it's obvious that there's still a LOT of work to be done with laptops and wireless!!
I am in hopes someone can help me with this, as it's URGENT. The unit is a Gateway 2.8Ghz with 80GB drive......nice unit that's been running XP Home Edition. 9.3 IS noticeably FASTER by the way. It has a Broadcom BCM4306 80211 b/g wireless chipset and Rioworks BCM4401 100 Bast-T ethernet. Even though 9.3 CAN see the wireless,
What indicates that 9.3 sees the wireless?
Hardware info. lists it.
Just because it is in the hardware list does not mean a driver is loaded (may not even be available). I have a laptop with a modem that is detected but there is no driver for it.
Thanks......I'll take a look. 'Still doesn't change the fact that we're still "not there" yet to "bump" MickySoft off their thrown. (throne)
