Hi Folks I have installed SUSE 9.2 at my place , all working fine , when I took the PC to my Father (spreading the word) and tried to boot up using his old monitor the initial boot screen comes up fine but when I push enter to continue the screen turns to garbage , even if I let the start-up complete and try switch to a new logon screen (no GUI) it is still unreadable . Other than reinstalling with the old screen attached what are my options ?, The boot screen does not have an option to change to 800X600, If I boot of the install CD1 can I set the screen there, Use Knoppix ?.
