Like anything else, you have to learn how it works. When you approach Linux coming from a Windows environment, you have to constantly repeat the mantra "I don't know jack about this stuff", if you make the assumption it's some sort of Windows clone, you are up the same creek as a fixed wing pilot getting in the cockpit of a helicopter and assuming he can fly it, they both can fly, they both have instruments, some the same, cockpits and controls, but you aint going nowhere until you learn how to fly a helicopter. Excellent analogy, Sid. I like it. No, I don't know how to fly and I'm sure I never will :-) but it strikes me as a brilliant piece. -- Take care. Kevan Farmer 34 Hill Street Cheslyn Hay Staffordshire WS6 7HR
