I downloaded and burned the DVD iso for 9.2 and it boots up on my laptop, starts installation, I choose the software, language, etc. Then after I accept the agreement and it starts to install RPM's, it fails with an error about the RPM not being valid. I try again and it does it for not always the same RPM. I even tried re-burning the DVD. I figure if the boot and install choices all work, the DVD must be good.
I also have the source installed on the network, but I cannot get an Ethernet driver to work for the integrated NIC in my Gateway 600s laptop.
Can someone offer assistance with either issue to get this loaded on my laptop?
Thanks, First, make sure the iso is ok: `md5sum SUSE-Linux-9.2-FTP-DVD.iso` and compare it to the MD5SUMS file from where you downloaded it. The MD5 of
