This worked out great for me - except I could not use the CUPS manager. Whenever I open the CUPS manager (http://localhost:631) and try to manage printers (or add one), it asks for a username and password. This happens on both my home and office boxes. No matter what I enter (as root or a normal user), I get "Authentication Failed". Any ideas?
Oh yeah - after installing the Z600 driver, I was able to configure the printer through Yast just fine. :)
You need to add a specific user/password to admin cups via lppasswd. See man lppasswd and check out http://portal.suse.com/sdb/en/2003/09/jsmeix_print-einrichten-90.html -- Joe Morris New Tribes Mission Email Address: Joe_Morris@ntm.org Registered Linux user 231871
