I have very strange problem with latest Mozilla on SuSE 9.2 on this page: http://phphtmllib.newsblob.com/phphtmllib/examples/example8.php
Hi Andrei, Is this an error message displayed in your browser?:
The Libart/Freetype SVG rendering engine could not initialize the freetype library. Please go to http://www.mozilla.org/projects/fonts/unix/enabling_truetype.html and follow steps 2 - 7.
All I get at that link is a:blank page [source title is "about:blank" and contains only the following:
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN"><html><head><title></title></head><body></body></html>
Am I missing something here in believing the page should send more than this? (hinting it may be a problem at the server...) Also, "about:config" in my version of Mozilla (1.6 rpm from ???) seems to indicate I've got FreeType & TrueType support enabled: [excerpt] font.FreeType2.autohinted ... false font.FreeType2.enable ... true font.FreeType2.printing ... true font.FreeType2.unhinted ... true ... font.directory.truetype.1 ... /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/truetype ... font.freetype2.shared-library ... libfreetype.so.6 [/excerpt] I'm inclined to believe there's no content in the (dynamic) page being served because there's a server-side problem. regards, - Carl
