Sluggishness, a matter of CPU Architecture?

Merry Christmas, all SuSErs ! My Pentium 4 at 1.8 Gig. is shown as 35 Bogo-MIPs My Celeron 2.4 Gig. is shown as 47 Bogo-MIPs Is it 'normal' that : Pentium of 35 Bogo-MIPs, is faster + frisky Celeron of 47 Bogo-MIPs is sluggish ? thanks ___________
