I note and agree with your initial point (although how this is different to us all being pointed to a web-site to see for ourselves is difficult to see), but your "in parenthesis" opinion is another question.

This country has taken in/is taking in a very large number of immigrants, to the point where many of us (read me, if you want to, before you nit-pick) are very concerned. Nobody I know was ever asked if we wanted "a multi-cultural society" (and I'm talking back three generations)- we were told we had to like it.

When reporting the obvious is not acceptable because of "Political Correctness" then "1984" isn't the future, it's now.

Don't send anything over the 'net if you're not prepared to have it used (another aspect of "Big Brother") is the answer.
