I have been running PostNuke on SuSE 8.0 - 9.1 at home. Now i upgraded to 9.2 and PostNuke wont work. Reinstalled the whole machine!!! (puh) tried to install PostNuke again and no success:(
Here is the installation error, got almost the same when trying to upgrade Fatal error: Call to undefined function: mysql_pconnect() in /srv/www/htdocs/postnuke/install/newinstall.php on line 37
My skills in php/mysql are very poor but i like useing it. So please, anyone, what should i do with my apache/mysql machine to get PostNuke to work.

The problem lies with the developers of php - who think that 'backward compatibility' has to do with driving a car. You're stuck until you learn enough php to recode the things that don't work any more. This happens, to one extent or another, every lousy time they update php.
Personally, I gave up on php several versions ago - after the THIRD time I had to rewrite the EXACT SAME application. Welcome to the club.
