I'm trying to get DRBD running between two SuSE 9.1 boxes. I have kernel 2.6.5, drbd 0.7-pre8 (api:74/proto:72), drbdsetup 0.7-pre5 (api:72) and drbdadm 0.7-pre5 (api:72). All installed from SuSE RPMS kernel-default-2.6.5-7.108, drbd-0.7.0-54, the latest via YaST and YOU yesterday. The first thing I discovered is that the sample drbd.conf file included with the drbd package is for version 0.6 and gives you errors about invalid parameters right away. The sample in the man page for drbd.conf also says it is for 0.6. I got the following from the drbd website that said it was good for 0.7 and just replaced the disk and adress parameters with my own. I have this /etc/drbd.conf: resource drbd0 { protocol C; incon-degr-cmd "halt -f"; on heartbeata { device /dev/nb0; disk /dev/hda3; address 172.17.0.1:7789; } on heartbeatb { device /dev/nb0; disk /dev/hda3; address 172.17.0.2:7789; } } When I run "drbdadm -d up all" or "/etc/init.d/drbd start" I get: "/etc/drbd.conf:3: syntax error". If I comment out line 3, I still get the same error. Any ideas? Jason Joines =================================
