Not exactly the same, but I'm running 9.1 on an Asus A7V880. I choose to set up the SATA drives under LVM using striping (raid-0), so it's really software raid, which I suspect to be better than the motherboard-supplied hardware raid. -- Stephen If your desktop gets out of control easily, you probably have too much stuff on it that doesn't need to be there.
