This question keeps popping up from time to time..
Maybe time for an export facility for KMail to export addressbook, filter settings and config?? For the time you want to move your KMail to another or reinstall a system...
Isn't this question in the kmail FAQ? Hmmm, let's see...
<Alt>-<F2> http://kmail.kde.org/
Click 'FAQ'
*** 6.4. Where does KMail save my settings and my mail?
And the Kmail FAQ is part of the Kmail handbook.
This is also the case with the location of the Kaddressbook data: It is in the KAddressbook handbook.
But who reads manuals or handbooks, or even FAQ's? I do. But not everytime I have a question. Sometimes I don't find the answer
