It is on the DVD under Productivity/Scientific/Math. Did you try the "search" option for selecting software on YAST? Scilab 2.7-250 here, and it runs OK.
I looked for it by Yast ... but could not find it. Is there a downloadable ".rpm" file for SuSE ?
