I'm running SuSE 9.1 w/KDE3.3 and a Logitech Optical Wheel Mouse.
I'm noticing a frequent 'stutter' when moving the mouse. For instance, if I were to move the curser back and forth across the screen, about every second it hesitates before continuing. It's more of a frustrating annoyance really, otherwise it works normally.
I'm not sure if this is a KDE problem or if the USB service isn't polling the mouse fast enough.
Any ideas?
Use a mouse pad, or try a different one if you're already using one. Or, try NOT using one :) Seriously, sometimes it's all just about the mouse pad. Btw, I like Logitech mice--they usually work great with any distros I use... -- - E - on SUSE 9.1 | KDE 3.3 | ASUS P4C800 Deluxe \ Pentium 4 3.0GHz | Tachyon G9600 PRO-M \ Transcend 2GB RAM | copperwalls was here ;) No 3D for Tachyon :( I don't use 3D now anyway :) "If you remain in my word, you are really my disciples." - John 8:31
