Thanks for the reply.
What solved the problem for you was probably the
upgrade to kde 3.3, cause i'm with 3.2.1+ yast online
updates, and it doesn't work!
I'm trying not to update to 3.3.x cause i need this
system to be rock stable, and I'm not sure how stable
would an unofficial update be. Could you share your
experience on this? Does it work as 3.2.1 official
from suse?

Hi!
I'm testing NX client/ server here with SL9.1
I'm having trouble with konqueror under kde under nx :) It just wont start!
Do you get the same problem? Just to check if this is a one-machine bug, or something else.
BTW.. If o connect to the test drive (nomachine.com servers), I can start konqueror with no problems.

I was having the same problem. I am running 9.1 with all update through Yast. I am also running KDE 3.3 also updated through Yast. I can't remember if it began working after a "regular" update or after KDE update.
It does appear faster than VNC and can be set to tunnel everything through ssh including a drive mapping. On the other hand, Putty could be used to create the same tunnels for VNC and Samba at no cost. Then again, NX can be set up to run individual apps.
