This might seem like a stupid question, but I'm stumped. All the fax related software I find in SUSE seems to work with a fax server of sorts.
Is there any way to fax a document using a normal modem directly?
You are confused. Hylafax converts a linux machine with a modem-fax into a fax server. It can be used perfectly by a single user with one machine. Perhaps an overkill, but usable.
