Hi experts,
I have noticed over certain period of time that apmd process dies quite often on me so I'm thinking to have script executed by cron few times a day to check apmd process id is there and if not restart it (I do this manually using Yast2 now). Idea seems to be simple but I'm not sure what is the best way to find out apmd died as ps -aef | grep apmd does not show it but /var/run has apmd.pid file. Also what is the best way to configure cron to do this job.
Thank you for any help.
Martin
