i am trying to setup dhcp server for ltsp . My server/host ip address is 192.68.0.1 how do i configure dhcpserver yast2 dhcp-server donent take configration from host/network is there any way to setup nework automatically or do i have to confiure dhcp-server mannually what is subnet what is netmask
I suggest that you go to the Linux Documentation Project site http://tldp.org and read the DHCP mini-HOWTO information. The stuff that is in Yast (which is read from the /etc/dhcpd.conf) is just some samples. You'll have to change them to suit your needs. However without knowing the syntax and possibilities of dhcpd.conf it's almost impossible to do that. -Ti
