EVERYTHING WORKED
Unfortunetely I had no such luck. Had to go back to the original kernel as supplied on the installation DVD. The boot process halted during 'turning on DMA on /dev/hdc'. Which is a Hitachi 160 Gbyte drive on a SIL3112 Sata controller ! Hope they fix this soon :-(. Would be a good idea when Yast would make an extra entry so you can still boot into your previous 'working' kernel, after upgrading the kernel ! Eric -- Running Suse Linux 9.1 Pro
