I have SuSE 9.0 installed on my laptop. When I enter my password on the login screen, I get no feedback of any type. The typical "*" doesn't echo as I type. Visually, it's as if nothing were entered, but it is taking the password as it logs me in when I press enter.
Does anyone know what might be causing this and how to get the feedback turned on?
