I was going to start recording in some tapes that I found around the house and I noticed that I cannot set a port to capture on my soundcard!
Still having this issue.
When I first installed 9.1, I saw that I was able to capture anything from CD to Line In. Now any GUI mixer shows me only a blank page with only one option, the option to add +20db on the microphone.
Rephrase this for better understanding. I installed 9.1 and the sound card was fully functioning including the option for selecting what I wanted to capture. Now for some reason, I cannot capture anything. The tab in KAmix for setting the capture options is blank except for the option for adding +20db on the microphone. I tried to use aslamixer but it will not allow me to select any source for capturing audio.
The soundcard is a Audigy2ZS and the version of SuSE is 9.1
Any ideas????? Marshall
