go in yast, hardware, graphic card and screen (or just start sax) select mouse, open "for experienced" tab on far right, select mouse wheel
I see and "Expert" tab. "Enable Wheel" is already checked.
This is a frustrating experience.

Check your XF86Config file. Mine is: Section "InputDevice" Driver "mouse" Identifier "Mouse[1]" Option "ButtonNumber" "5" Option "Buttons" "5" Option "Device" "/dev/mouse" Option "Name" "Autodetection" Option "Protocol" "ExplorerPS/2" Option "Vendor" "Sysp" Option "ZAxisMapping" "4 5" EndSection Notice the line Option "Protocol" "ExplorerPS/2" A previous posting said to try IMPS/2, but on my computer with SuSE 9.1 that setting didn't work and ExplorerPS/2 seems to do the trick. Hope that helps. -- Brian Craft Yahoo Instant Messenger ID: bcraft67 AIM: linuxman67 Website: http://userdata.acd.net/javaman67/ Linux Counter id: 97873 Linux......the OS of Choice!
