My cdrom device is called /dev/cdrecorder. I think I mounted it-- at least it didn't give me an error message. And I can see the disk files in Konqheror. But how do I tell Yast to look on it? I want to install from a file on the disk called ./install.wp which is the new Corel WordPerfect for Linux. I think I could have done this in SuSE6.1, without YAST, but with all this automation I'm snowed. TIA--doug
In konquerer go the the rpm you want installed, click on it and one of the oprions will be "install using YaST". Select that option and YaST will install it. Ken
