Hi all,

CinePaint looks to have real possibilities, especially since most of Hollywood is using it for movies and high level film editing. There also seems to be a new guy in town that comes from the Amiga computer originally. Photogenics.HDR from Idruna Software. Here is an excerpt from their site: http://www.idruna.com/
[snip] Photogenics has done a so so job, IMHO. The software ISN'T intuitive at all, VERY expensive, and won't import RAW images, which makes it worthless. I played with it for a couple of hours today, and found it MUCH harder to work with than Gimp. Further, it has NO WHERE NEAR the tools that Gimp has. For as much as Photogenics charges for it, it should be EVERY bit as good as PhotShop, and it's NOT even close.
