Hi,
I used SuSE 8.2 (Kernel 2.4.20) on my laptop with a winmodem and works with a ltmodem driver found on
http://www.physcip.uni-stuttgart.de/heby/ltmodem/dists/suse/8.26a9/ ltmodem-kv_2.4.20_4GB-8.26a9-1.i386.rpm
after I set a module parameter Forced=3,0x1c00,0x2f8,0
Now I'm trying to get it to work on the same computer with SuSE 9.0 which uses kernel 2.4.21, with the SuSE ltmodem driver rpm. However, I don't seem to be able to set the paramter Forced= anymore, required to get the modem to work. The response from modprobe is "Forced: no such parameter"
use modinfo to see which parameters are accepted by the module. Something like "modinfo <modulename>"
