Hello, I am trying to get a ATI 9600 video card working with SUSE 9. So far I have installed the latest ATI driver from here ... http://www.ati.com/support/drivers/linux/radeon-linux.html?type=linux&prodType=graphic&prod=productsLINUXdriver&submit.x=12&submit.y=7&submit=GO%21 and followed the ATI install to the letter. But... now yast does not allow the resolution to be set. I can do it using the fglrxconfig routine i8n a sh, but not with yast. yast screws up the screen when started and forces a re-boot to straighten it out again. 3d does not work. fglrxinfo diplays an error that says ... Xlib: connection tp ":0.0" refused by server. Anyone get a ATI 9600 working with SUSE 9? how? tb
