Hello,
After update to KDE 3.2.1 I can't run any graphic program as root:
- -I can't login as root user in KDE. - -I can make 'sux' in a KDE user console but I can't run any graphic program. As example I can't run yast2:
gauss:/home/gbv # yast2 Xlib: connection to ":0.0" refused by server Xlib: Protocol not supported by server
y2controlcenter: cannot connect to X server :0
Is it an only mine problem? Any other user suffering the same? Any hint?.
It's always been like this. So do this..
type sux then the root passwd then run your program.
Nope, it doesn't run. I can enter with 'sux' but then I can't run any graphic program (as yast2, synaptic ....). I forgot to mention I have SuSE 8.2 installed.
