How do i go about installing software with YaST and keeping the YaST module up-to-date and aware of everything?
rpm -Uvh *rpm ? Unless Im mistaken (always a possibility) I thought that Yast simply relies on the underlying rpm database. I know I have been installing rpms by hand on mnay many systems, and never had issues with yast getting coinfused by that. I could just have gotten lukcy I guess ..
